The National HR Conference 2024, South Asia’s largest and most inclusive HR conference, was inaugurated on June 5th, 2024, at Monarch Imperial with an impressive array of speakers and distinguished guests.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the President of CIPM, Mr. Ken Vijayakumar. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Nick Jonsson, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Executives’ Global Network (EGN), providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of human resources.
We were honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, His Excellency Santosh Jha, the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, who shared his perspective on the critical role of HR in fostering international relations and business growth. Air Vice Marshal Manoaj Keppetipola, the Chairman of the National HR Conference 2024, concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all speakers and participants.

This year’s conference attracted some of the world’s most renowned resource personnel and representatives from National Institute of Personnel Management India. This diverse attendance is indicative of the interest and enthusiasm of the global and regional HR community in the activities organized by CIPM Sri Lanka, the only Chartered HR body incorporated by an act of Parliament in Sri Lanka.
The event was a significant platform for discussing the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in human resources, providing an opportunity for professionals to network and collaborate.
