HR Diplomates poised for success

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) conducted the Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the Diploma in Professional Human Resource Management (DPHRM) with grandeur on 28th January 2023. Addressing the diplomates, Mr. Vijayakumar emphasized the importance of working with passion, commitment, curiosity, and courage to change the country’s demands at this challenging juncture. Furthermore, he assured that with an undying enthusiasm for lifelong learning and the firm foundation laid at the CIPM, the diplomates are earmarked for great success in their future endeavours. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Mahendra Jayasekera, the Managing Director of Lanka Tiles PLC, Lanka Wall Tiles PLC, and Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC, sharing his valuable thoughts at the occasion, stated that CIPM has successfully created HR professionals, who are not confined only to the field of HR Management, but skilled and capable future leaders who are capable of thriving in any sphere of the country as well as the world.
More than 700 diplomates who have successfully completed the program were awarded certificates at the convocation held at CIPM Head Office in Colombo.
The event was graced with the presence of the Chief Guests, Mr. Ken Vijayakumar, the President of CIPM, Mr. Priyantha Ranasinghe, the Vice President of CIPM, and the Guests of Honour, Mr Mahendra Jayasekera, the Managing Director of Lanka Tiles PLC, Lanka Wall Tiles PLC, and Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC and Mr Ranjith Kodituwakku, Former Chief Executive Officer, People’s Bank Sri Lanka. The Office Bearers and the Council Members of CIPM, the Staff of CIPM, and the diplomates’ parents were also present at the awards ceremony.
