CIPM awarded the Gold Medal to Ms. Perera B.S., a student at National School of Business Management, during the graduation ceremony held in NSBM Auditorium on December 11, 2023. Ms. Perera excelled as the Most Outstanding Student in Human Resource Management (HRM) stream, achieving this remarkable feat in the BSc in Business Management (Human Resource Management) program at the Convocation of NSBM.
Furthermore, in recognition of her outstanding achievements, Ms. Perera was granted a scholarship to pursue the Chartered Intermediate of Human Resource Management (CIHRM) program offered by CIPM. This initiative is part of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between NSBM and CIPM, which aims to foster the development of best HR practices in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Chrisanthao Obesekere, Chief Executive Officer, CIPM SL and Mr. Sujeewa Perera, Manager of the Examination Department, proudly represented CIPM SL at this event. Congratulations to Ms. Perera on her well-deserved accomplishments.
CIPM’s Annual Prith Chanting and Multi-Religious Ceremony 2023 was held on January 04, 2023 followed by ’Heel Daanaya’ on the following day ( Thursday) at CIPM premises.
Starting the New Year with Prith Chanting is truly blessed. The President of CIPM Mr. Ken Vijayakumar, The members of the CIPM Executive Council, Past Presidents, Members of the Committees, CEO, and the staff of CIPM attended the event.
With the improved exterior elegance with the Colour washing of the CIPM building was also highlighted at the event.

Urban Agriculture Competition for CIPM staff members has been organized and launched on 4th January 2023 with the presence of the CIPM President and the office bearers.
CIPM staff were provided with 4 criteria for the Urban Agriculture garden; Most Healthy cultivation, Most Innovative cultivation, Hygro agriculture using water methods, and Most creative indoor gardening.
The Urban Agriculture Garden was successfully implemented with the concept of CIPM president Mr. Ken Vijayakumar towards sustainable development. The greenhouse is maintained and sustained under the technical guidance of Agricultural officer Mr. Roshan Jayasundara
This will be a great initiative to go forward with the sustainability concept.
