The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka and General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University (KDU) formally executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 17, 2024, at the Vice Chancellor’s Office, KDU. This significant accord marks a historic milestone for both institutions, fostering the expansion of educational opportunities and the exploration of new horizons for students. Moreover, the MOU catalyses enhanced collaboration, knowledge exchange, and broader access to academic and professional resources.
Representing KDU at the MOU signing ceremony were Rear Admiral H.G.U. Dammika Kumara, Vice Chancellor; Prof. K. A. S. Dhammika, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics; Dr Ms L. Liyanage, Dean, Faculty of Management, Social Sciences & Humanities; Ms D. D. Lokuge, Head of the Department of Management and Finance; and other academic staff.
Mr. Saman Jayawickkrama, Honorary Secretary represented the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka; Air Vice Marshal Mr Manoj Keppetipola, Honorary Editor; Mr Harendra Hewakuruppu, Council Member; Mr U. A. C. Obeyesekere, Chief Executive Officer; Mr Sujeewa Perera, Manager Examination; and Mr Ravindu Sachintha, Assistant Manager, Professional and Academic Affairs.
